Product engineering is the whole path: name the problem, engineer the system, put it in people’s hands. Jorge Cortés does that work himself. Agendamelo, PGAS and WspWrapped walked it. PGAS is the example of a service built as a product.

What is product engineering — not software development?

Software development writes the code. Product engineering decides what should exist, engineers the system, and ships it. The three live products on this site are that path, not a staff-aug engagement.

How much does it cost?

There is no published rate card for engagements on this site. Price follows a named problem, a fixed scope and deliverables, after a short diagnosis. Write through the contact page. Do not take PGAS catalog numbers as a quote for this work.

Do you work with remote teams?

Yes. Jorge Cortés is in Santiago, Chile, and works remotely, worldwide, in Spanish and English.

What happens after launch?

Production is the next Think. We scope the first weeks: what to watch, what to cut, what to leave alone. It is not an open retainer unless we name it.

Can you join a product that already exists?

Yes. The first Think is often a system that already exists and is lying about its problem. The work is to name what is actually broken, then cut.

Is PGAS a service or a product?

Both, on purpose. PGAS is a consultancy built as a product: a public catalog, a named method, a site that proves the craft. That is the example. The SEO copy itself lives on pgas.online, not here.

Do you work alone or with a team?
